Malgudi Adventures : Classic Tales For Children
Kenneth Grahame, a British writer, was born in Edinburgh on March 8, 1859. He excelled at St Edward’s School, Oxford as a student but couldn’t go to university due to financial reasons. Kenneth began writing stories in order to entertain and educate his son Alistair, whom he called “Mouse” because of his health issues. He wanted to help his son be more responsible and mature in how he behaves towards others through the book.
The Mole is fed up with his underground existence and spring cleaning. He decides to go above the ground. He discovers the joys and wonders of sunshine and fresh air, meets lots of fascinating animals and has crazy adventures. He also makes new friends such as the Rat, Mr. Badger, and the Toad. As the four friends get into trouble, they plan rebellions and go on picnics. They also meet some of the wildest and most eccentric Wild Wood animals!SKU: PRK0143335900
