Ladybird’s first Key Words with Peter and Jane book. Key Words With Peter and Jane uses the most commonly used words in English as a starting point to learn how to read confidently and successfully. Key Words is a world-famous reading program that has been scientifically researched. Book 1a introduces Peter & Jane in 16 new words, including ‘and,’ ‘I, likes’, and ‘has’. After the book is finished, the child can move on to book 1b. Because each key word is slowly introduced and then repeated often, the Key Words with Peter and Jane books are effective. Children will feel more confident when they can see these key words. This is also known as the “look and say” method of learning. The following are key words: the, one; two; he. Each level has three books: Series a, B, and C. These series introduce new words gradually. Series b: Practices words from the ‘a’ series. Series c: Link reading and writing.
