Nelson was born in Bray in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, and now resides in Dun Laoghaire.
Two women recall the night of their father’s death. Esther, the woman denied, and Sara the corrupted daughter look back at their father’s cruelty and forge ahead to their freedom. They must now decide whether to accept new possibilities or stick with the old values after being freed from their father’s terrible emotional and physical abuse. It tells the story of two women’s attempts to escape from a frightening past.
