Vyakarana is an indisputable honour in Indology. Paniniyas consider Panini’s grammar a fundamental source of argumentation, not only for those studying Indian literature or sastras, but all students. This volume contains thirteen contributions to the Vyakarana section at the twelfth World Sanskrit Conference. These papers offer a wide range of information. The majority of the papers deal with technical aspects of Paninian grammar. Many papers focus on Panini’s metalinguistic usage. Four studies also examine derivational procedures, and specific sutras that are related to them. Two papers focus on syntax, while two others address historical topics.
