Mandana Misra’s most significant work, The Brahma Siddhi (‘The Demonstration of Brahman,’) is Mandana Misra’s largest and most important. It is also the only one that devotes itself entirely to Vedanta. These topics are interrelated and the author plans to explore them in this book. All of them deal with the nature of error. This includes every-day and transcendental errors, avidya. It is this that allows us to see the multitude of phenomena, while there is only one brahman. It also shows the many sources Mandana relied upon in creating his system. Even though there were many sources, Mandana managed to create a system. The closed coherence between its parts is admirable, even though one may not always agree with his conclusions. To give an overview of Mandana’s work order and date, two appendices have been added. To satisfy readers’ curiosity, an extensive bibliography was also provided. A list of key words has been included.
