The Hevajrantra is the well-known Anuttarayogatantra about unsurpassed Yoga. It is the direct successor to the Tattvasamgraha, a yogatantra. In the 11th century, it was translated from Sanskrit to Chinese. The Chinese translators offered a text that is true to the original, yet acceptable to the Chinese environment of the 11th Century. These diplomatic efforts explain many discrepancies that were not a problem for the initiators.
