Correlates of Moral Values & Judgement
The book deals with the correlates conducive to moral values and judgement. Morality refers to a learned set of criteria consisting of statements ranging from verbalizable to completely unverbalizable conscience which determine the choices of behavior including verbal behavior on the dimension of right and wrong. Morality, here has been viewed in terms of knowledge of moral values and judgement. In this context, various viewpoints have been discussed. The correlates of moral values and judgement undertaken in the present study are age, mental ability, parental SES, education, occupation, respect, environmental conditions and familial conditions. It is author’s humble effort of understanding moral values and judgement. The author has suggested measures to inculcate morality in people which is the significant trait in building up the personality of any individual.
