The Heart of wisdom is based upon an oral commentary to the essence wisdom Sutra (the Heart Sutra) that was given by Manjushri Mahayana Buddhist Centre in England. One of the most well-known and popular Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, the Heart Sutra contains the essence and methods for understanding the ultimate reality of Buddha’s teachings about emptiness. Geshe Kelsang, a highly respected explanation of the Sutra, reveals both its implicit and explicit meanings with clarity and authority. He then relates them to five Mahayana paths that will lead to complete enlightenment. Modern light shows that Buddha was able to see and “see” the huge spatial distances between atoms as well as between sub-atomic particles, which were “filled” with electrons, and sub-eletrons, in a state high in vibration. This atomic condition corresponds with a similar pattern within the brains of living creatures and interstellar or interplanetary gaps. As the author explains, the subject of emptiness deals with perceptions that lead to the idea of formation and creation a world full of sense ideas. This is simply a random arrangement of material resources in an otherwise blank space filled with vibrations from these very particles. The author manages to make this a simple topic.
