Late Dr. Surendranath Dasgutpa, C.I.F., I.F.S., Ph.D (Cal. Et Cantab. ), D.Litt (“Hony, Rome”) was the Principal, Government Sanskrit College in Calcutta and King George V. Professor of Mental and Moral Science at Calcutta Univ. He represented Cambridge Univ. At the Congress of Philosophy in Paris (1921) and Calcutta Univ. at the International Congress of Philosophy at Naples (1924) and at Harvard (1926). In 1936, he represented India at the International Congress of Religion (London) and Paris (1939). A few of his many works are listed.
It is available in five volumes. Vol. Vol. It also includes the philosophy of Yogavasistha and the Bhagavadgita, as well as speculations about medical schools. Vol. Vol. III provides an in-depth account of the Principal Dualistic & Pluralistic Systems, including the philosophy of the Pancaratra and Yamuna and Ramanuja, Nimbarka and Vijnanabhiksu, as well as philosophical speculations about some selected Puranas. Vol. IV is concerned with the Bhagavata purana, Madhva, his School, Vallabha and Caitanya as well as Jiva Gosvami, Baladeva Vidyabhusana and Madhva. Vol. Vol. Saiva Philosophy is found in the Puranas as well as in other important texts.
