PASAYADANA OF SANT JNANESWARA

Evidently, the mere recitation, reading, or singing of Pasayadana verses has not made a difference to society. Indians have accepted the expectation of God’s blessings, graces and divine power in their lives. People have become lazy, dependent, passive, and inactive, which is a problem. It is normal and proper to expect people will evaluate their thoughts and take action to eliminate their negative tendencies. Only the light of one’s own virtues can make the darkness disappear. Only when everyone does his best, the world will see the glory of actions (Swadharma), the world will be able to see its glorious light. This reader is responsible for understanding the meanings of the verses and being able to change his behavior.
