Saundaryalahari, a rare tantric work, is the authorship of Samkaracharya. It is a long poem with over 100 verses. It is a hymn to the Divine Mother, a prayer to God, and an invocation. This prayer awakens man from a stupor into a state full of creativity and effulgent energy. This monograph presents the original Sanskrit text in Devanagari script, along with its Roman transliteration. English translations of the verses are included with explanation notes. This is done to appeal to modern readers. The inclusion of yantras within their pictorical symbols focuses attention on the underlying potencies each verse. It is stressed that the possibility of reaching power and success through a single-minded recitation or repetition of the verses can be achieved.
