A comparative study between the Chinese Madhyama agama, and the Pali Majjhima Nikaya is done to introduce the Madhyama Agama nearly in its entirety. The Agama is extensively covered, beginning with its composition and division into vargas (faculi), days of recital of Sutras, and then moving on to the Agama’s contents. This also explains the differences in practice between some Buddhist countries today.
